Public Works announces that a private contractor, K&S Construction, will be placing a yellow colored, non-harmful dye into storm water inlets in the area of Burch and East Campus Drive today.
The storm water outlet drains to the Hinkson Creek in the area of Burch and Rockhill.
A slight discoloration of water in the creek may be noted today during and after the testing is conducted.
Again, the dye is not harmful to humans or to aquatic life.
