INCIDENT DETAILS:

Vehicle 1 was traveling westbound on I-70 near the 123.4 mile marker in the inside lane at a high rate of speed. Vehicle 1 attempted to switch lanes to the outside lane at a high rate of speed. Driver 1 then lost control of the vehicle and ran off the roadway to the right. Vehicle 1 then went down into a culvert. Upon doing this, vehicle 1 began to roll. When vehicle 1 began rolling both occupants were ejected out of the vehicle. Both occupants were transported to a local hospital with serious/life threatening injuries.

At the time of this release, it is unknown which occupant was the driver and which was the passenger. The investigation is on-going.
