Fatality Accident at Keene Street and Berrywood Drive

(COLUMBIA, MO) -

Date and Time Occurred: 10/24/17 @ 8:30 p.m.

Accident Location: Keene Street and Berrywood Drive

     Driver:  Anthony Johnson

                    Kansas City, Missouri

                    Age: 36

                    Injury: None

Pedestrian: Donald Wayne Meyer

                     Columbia, Missouri

                     Age: 60

                     Injury: Fatal

   

                

Incident Details:

The driver was heading south on Keene Street near Berrywood Drive. The pedestrian was in the roadway and was struck by the driver. The pedestrian was transported by ambulance to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead from his injuries sustained in the accident.

The investigation is ongoing.
