Columbia Police officers were dispatched to the 3500 block of Clark Lane at 11:42 p.m. yesterday in reference to a home invasion.
The preliminary investigation revealed an occupant of the residence answered the door and two male suspects forced entry into the home. The suspects indicated they had a firearm. The suspects retrieved several items from the home before fleeing the area. There were no reported injuries or property damage as a result of the incident.
The suspects are described as black males, one being taller than the other, and they were last seen wearing dark colored sweatshirts with hoods. The investigation is on-going.
