Sidewalk closures along Ninth, Walnut streets scheduled for Sept. 11-15

Beginning Monday, Sept. 11 at 8 a.m., Ridenhour Directional Drilling plans to begin working on borings for Socket Telecom, LLC. This will result in sidewalk closures along Ninth Street and Walnut Street (see location map). There will be six phases of the closure. Each phase will be completed in approximately two days or less, weather permitting. The closures will start near 217 N. Ninth St. and end near 814 E. Walnut St. The work associated with the closures is scheduled to be completed by Friday, Sept. 15 at 5 p.m., weather permitting.

Motorists, nonmotorized transportation users and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the work zone and use an alternate route whenever possible.
