UPDATE: SHOOTING IN THE 2300 BLOCK OF PARKS EDGE PLACE

(COLUMBIA, MO) -

Two juveniles were taken into custody and one adult was arrested in relation to the shooting of a 15 year old male juvenile that occurred in the 2300 block of Parks Edge Place yesterday at 2:58 p.m.

On 8/1/17 at 6:59 p.m., detectives took a 16 year old male juvenile into custody for Robbery in the First Degree.  Since this involves a juvenile no further information will be released and is being handled by the Boone County Juvenile Office.

On 8/1/17 at 7:57 p.m., detectives took a second 16 year old male juvenile into custody for Robbery in the First Degree. Since this involves a juvenile no further information will be released and is being handled by the Boone County Juvenile Office.

On 8/1/17 at 11:15 p.m., detectives arrested Johnny Annur Hurd Jr, age 18, from Columbia, at 1415 Risen Star Court for Armed Criminal Action, First Degree Assault, and Robbery in the First Degree.

There will be no further information released at this time since the investigation is still ongoing.
