Lane closures scheduled on Ninth Street, near the northeast, southwest corners of Locust, June 27-30

Beginning the evening of Tuesday, June 27 at 7 p.m., CA Ventures plans to complete work related to crosswalks at the intersection of Ninth and Locust. CA Ventures is a subcontractor for Brinkmann Constructors, the contractor for The Rise Apartments, located at 131 S. 10th St.

Locust Street should remain open but the southbound lane of Ninth just south of Locust will be closed as well as the northbound lane just north of Locust [see location diagram]. Motorists, pedestrians and nonmotorized transportation users are urged to exercise extreme caution when near the work zone and use an alternate route whenever possible.

The work associated with these lane closures is scheduled to be completed by 7 p.m., June 30, weather permitting
