Hitt Street between Rollins and University Avenue scheduled to fully close for four hours, June 12

UPDATE DETAILS: The one-lane closure on Hitt Street, between University Avenue and Rollins Street, is scheduled to switch to a full road closure for four hours on June 12, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., weather permitting. 



FULL PRESS RELEASE (May 10, 2017):

Lane, sidewalk closure scheduled on Hitt Street between Rollins and University Avenue, May 15-Aug. 4

Beginning Monday, May 15, at 7 a.m., Sircal Contracting Inc., a subcontractor for the University of Missouri, is planning to repair/reconstruct a steam chase on Hitt Street. This will result in lane restriction and sidewalk closures on Hitt Street between University Avenue and Rollins Street. The work associated with the closures is scheduled to be completed by Friday, Aug. 4, weather permitting.

Motorists, nonmotorized transportation users and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the work zone and use alternate routes whenever possible.
