Columbia Public Works announced on Friday, April 28, plans to host an open-house style interested parties meeting concerning Fire Training Academy improvements on Tuesday, May 16. The meeting is scheduled to take place from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Fire Training Academy Building, 700 Big Bear Blvd.
The purpose of this public meeting is to present design concepts for the proposed project which would include the building of an outside storage facility. Construction would begin this fall. Information and diagrams showing the preliminary design concept will be available for public review and staff will be present to answer questions.
