Columbia Police officers have arrested Ahmonta Marquise Harris, 25, and Aaron Harris, 24, both of Columbia in relation to Sunday morning's large disturbance at 1704 N. Providence Road, I-70 Eagle Stop.
Both Ahmonta Harris and Aaron Harris were observed by officers engaged in physical altercations with other subjects that were in the Eagle Stop parking lot when officers responded on 3/19/17. After officers tased two subjects in efforts to cease another altercation, Ahomonta Harris approached an officer in a threatening manner and was observed removing the probes from one of the subjects. When officers were taking another subject into custody, Aaron Harris charged officers and attempted to make contact with the subject officers were taking into custody. Both Ahmonta Harris and Aaron Harris were directed to leave multiple times by officers.
Ahmonta Harris was arrested on 3/21/17 at 5:00 p.m. at the Columbia Police Department for Misdemeanor Private Peace Disturbance, Misdemeanor Refusal to Disperse, and Misdemeanor Resisting or Interfering with Arrest with bonds to be set by the Court.
