Attempted armed robbery at Kilgores

(COLUMBIA, MO) -

Columbia Police officers were dispatched at 11:41 a.m. to 1608 Chapel Hill Road, Kilgore's Pharmacy, in reference to a robbery with a gun.

The preliminary investigation revealed a male suspect entered the business armed with a handgun and attempted to steal narcotics. The suspect was unsuccessful in obtaining narcotics and fled the area by vehicle in a northbound direction on Forum Boulevard. There were no reported injuries or property damage as a result of this incident.

The suspect appears to be a white male in his 30's, approximately six foot tall with a medium build. The investigation is on-going.
