On 1/30/17 at 9:06 p.m., officers were dispatched to a robbery with a weapon at 2301 W. Worley Street, JcPenney's parking lot. The female victim, age 69, from Sedalia, was walking to her car when she was approached by a female who began yelling at her numerous times to give the female suspect her purse. The victim said she kept telling the suspect she didn't have a purse. The suspect then assaulted the victim with a sharp object.
The suspect fled on foot without any of the victim's property to an older model compact car and drove off towards Fairview Avenue. The victim was seen by medical personnel on the scene for minor injuries. The victim refused transport to a hospital.
SUSPECT DESCRIPTION:
White Female, late teens to early 20's, approximately 5'0" and weighing approximately 100 pounds. The suspect was last seen wearing all dark clothing.
