On 1/27/17 at 11:15 p.m., officers were dispatched to a home invasion robbery in the 1100 block of Vandiver Drive. The investigation revealed five people were inside the residence when they heard the doorbell ring. One of the occupants answered the door and two males forced their way into the residence. One of the suspects displayed a handgun and demanded money. As the suspects were leaving the residence with an undisclosed amount of money, one of the suspects fired off two rounds and struck a female victim. The victim was transported by ambulance to a local hospital with a non-life threatening injury. The victim was treated and released from the hospital.
SUSPECT DESCRIPTIONS:
SUSPECT ONE: Black male, approximately 6'00" with a thin build wearing dark clothing.
SUSPECT TWO: Black male wearing a cap.
There was no one else injured during the robbery. There have been no arrests made and the investigation is ongoing.
