Dry snow has accumulated with 1-2 inches overnight and is expected to continue through midday on Thursday. Salt has been applied at 200 pounds per lane mile. Air temperatures are expected to remain in the mid to upper teens throughout the winter weather event. 1- 3" of accumulation is expected. Crews were in place overnight focusing on priority routes. A big thank you for all those people that moved off of priority routes. Street Division crews report that it helped a lot. Crews will continue to focus on priority routes this morning, but are beginning to move into residential areas already. Voluntarily moving vehicles off of residential streets is also requested.
