The Columbia Community Development Department announced on Wednesday that SPE Inc. plans to remove and replace a sewer lateral on Crown Point on Oct. 20, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., weather permitting. Currently the house at 306 Crown Point is without sanitary sewer. This will result in a lane closure of the eastbound lane of Crown Point between Spring Valley Road and Orchard Court.
Motorists, nonmotorized transportation users and pedestrians are urged to use extreme caution when in the work zone and take alternate routes whenever possible.
SPE Inc. is a private contractor.
