TOWN HALL MEETINGS SCHEDULED
The Columbia Police Department will be holding four different Town Hall Meetings to encourage an open dialogue between Beat Lieutenants, officers, and the community they serve. The meetings are from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at the following locations:
- Lieutenant Paul Dickinson - October 11, 2016 at Parkade Elementary located at 111 Parkade Boulevard. He is responsible for Beat 10/20.
- Lieutenant Geoff Jones - October 12, 2016 at Derby Ridge Elementary located at 4000 Derby Ridge Drive. He is responsible for Beat 30/40.
- Lieutenant Eric Hughes - October 13, 2016 at Shepard Boulevard Elementary located at 2616 Shepard Boulevard. He is responsible for Beat 70/80.
- Lieutenant Scott Young - October 25, 2016 at Gentry Middle School located at 4200 Bethel Street. He is responsible for Beat 50/60.
These meetings are FREE and open to the public. The meetings will focus on an open discussion with the community on brief statistics in the specific neighborhoods as well as initiatives officers are doing to make things better for our community. We encourage everyone to try and attend a meeting in your area to meet, greet and discuss concerns in your neighborhood with your beat officers. We look forward to seeing you there.
