The City of Columbia Public Works Department announced Friday that Mid-Continental Restoration plans to perform building maintenance work using a lift at 101 North Tenth St. from Sept. 26 to October 13, weather permitting. This work will result in a sidewalk closure on the west side of North Tenth Street between East Ash Street and East Walnut Street near 101 North Tenth St.
Mid-Continental Restoration is a private contractor that applied for and received a work permit from the City of Columbia.
Motorists, nonmotorized transportation users and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the work zone and use an alternate route whenever possible.
