Columbia Parks and Recreation is planning the next Neighborhood Park Fun Day, from 6-7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 28 at Auburn Hills Park, 5101 Derby Ridge Dr.
Neighborhood Park Fun Days are designed to bring together the residents who live in the area of the parks and provide recreational opportunities. Parks and Recreation staff will be available with a variety of activities and games.
GetAbout Columbia staff will be at the event to offer minor bicycle maintenance, such as adding air to tires and adjusting cable and brakes. The event will also feature a demonstration by the Mid-Missouri Blacksheep women's rugby team.
These events are free and no registration is needed. Residents are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or picnic blanket and food.
