Join Columbia Parks and Recreation and Columbia Public Schools' Academy of Rock Clubs for the last concert of the season at the Stephens Lake Park Amphitheater, 100 Old Hwy. 63. "Beats in the Park" will be held at 7 p.m. on September 1.
Beats in the Park will feature some of Columbia's best high school bands. Confirmed performers include the Blue Hearts Club, Better than Last and The District.
The concert is free of charge. Concert-goers are encouraged to bring a blanket or low lawn chair for seating. Lilly's Cantina and Kona Ice will be at the park with food and refreshments for purchase.
This is the final concert of the 2016 Stephens Lake Amphitheater Concert Series. The series was sponsored throughout the summer by KPLA 101.5. For more information, call Parks and Recreation at 573-874-7460.
