On 08/20/16 at approximately 10:40 A.M. Columbia Police Officers were dispatched to the area of Old Highway 63 and Mcalester Street regarding two wanted subjects seen walking in the area. Boone County Joint Communications (BCJC) advised officers that two subjects matching the descriptions of the suspects from the Pike County Missouri robbery, which occurred on August 17th, 2016, were reportedly seen walking on Mcalester Street near Old Highway 63. Officers searched the area and were unable to locate the suspects at this time.
On 08/20/16 at approximately 11:04 A.M. a Columbia Police Officer located the two suspects, identified as 30 year old Michael Miller and 39 year old Jessica Aschoff, walking in the 2500 block of Business Loop 70 East. Miller and Aschoff were both taken into custody without incident. Miller was transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries not related to their capture. No other information is available at this time.
