In a collaborative effort to address the growing violence nationwide, a press conference will be held tomorrow, July 9, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the City Council Chambers. Speakers at the conference will include: Mary Ratliff, former President of the Missouri State Chapter of National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), Lorenzo Lawson, Executive Director of the Youth Empowerment Zone and Chief Ken Burton of the Columbia Police Department.
