Holiday Parking Alert: Parking meters not enforced July 2-4 // Fifth and Cherry Lot closed July 4 // Sixth and Cherry Garage closed July 3-4

(COLUMBIA, MO) -

Holiday Parking Alert:

  • Parking meters not enforced July 2-4
  • Fifth and Cherry Lot closed July 4
  • Sixth and Cherry Garage closed July 3-4

Parking meters will not be enforced July 2-4: On-street parking meter regulations will not be enforced during the Fourth of July holiday from July 2 at 7 p.m. through the night of July 4. (Parkers must begin feeding the meters again at 9 a.m. on July 5).

Fifth and Cherry Lot closed July 4: The Fifth and Cherry Parking Lot will be closed on July 4 from 5 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. for the Fire in the Sky event.  All vehicles need to vacate the lot by 5 p.m. on July 4 or face being ticketed and towed at the owner's expense. The lot will reopen on July 4 at 11:30 p.m.

Sixth and Cherry Garage closed July 3-4: The Sixth and Cherry Garage will be closed from July 3 at 7 p.m. to July 4 at 11:30 p.m. for the Fire in the Sky event. All vehicles need to vacate the garage by 7 p.m. on July 3 or face being ticketed and towed at the owner's expense. The parking garage will reopen on July 4 at 11:30 p.m.

Alternate Parking Garage: Parking permits in the closed garage and lot will be honored at the Fifth and Walnut Garage from July 1 at 12 p.m. to July 5 at 10 a.m.
