The City of Columbia Public Works Department announced today that CT Railroad plans to remove a railroad crossing on Sylvan Lane between June 14 and June 15, weather permitting. This will result in a street closure of Sylvan Lane between Vandiver Drive and Quail Drive.
Motorists and nonmotorized transportation users are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the work zone and to use an alternate route whenever possible.
