South Fifth Street in downtown Columbia is scheduled to close on Wednesday May 11, at 8 a.m.
Trittenbach/CCEG is set to demolish buildings and install new sewer/water connections at 525 Elm St.
This will result in a closure on South Fifth Street between Elm Street and Locust Street. Some vehicular access will be maintained for adjoining property.
The work associated with the closure is scheduled to be completed by Wednesday, June 8 at 5 p.m., weather permitting.
A chain-link fence will be erected for pedestrian safety during the demolition, but everyone in the area is urged to use caution and find alternative routes.
See attachments below for more details.
