SPRING BREAK BURGLARY RESULTS

The final numbers have been compiled for Spring Break 2016 as well as the numbers from Spring Break 2010 through 2015.

Spring Break March 25, 2016 through April 5, 2016 - 7 Residential, 1 Commercial and 2 Other

Spring Break March 20, 2015 through March 31, 2015 - 29 Residential, 3 Commercial and 1 Other

Spring Break March 22, 2014 through April 1, 2014 - 26 Residential Burglaries, 0 Commercial and 0 Other

Spring Break March 22, 2013 through April 2, 2013 - 21 Residential Burglaries, 3 Commercial Burglaries and 1 other

Spring Break March 24, 2012 through April 3, 2012 - 21 Residential Burglaries

Spring Break March 26, 2011 through April 4, 2011 - 14 Residential Burglaries, 1 Commercial Burglary and 1 other

Spring Break March 27, 2010 through April 5, 2010 - 10 Residential Burglaries, and 5 Commercial Burglaries

  

After checking all 10 burglaries to see if they were concentrated to a certain area of town, it appears that they were committed throughout the City of Columbia. Our records system does not separate students from non-students.  The other category listed above with residential and commercial burglaries are an unattached garage or shed.
