Today at 10:55 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of Timber Creek Drive in reference to a home invasion with a gun.
The preliminary investigation reveals two male suspects armed with firearms forced entry into a residence in the area. The residence was occupied by two victims at the time of the home invasion. The suspects retrieved an undisclosed amount of property before fleeing the area. Columbia Independent School was temporarily on lockdown immediately following the incident. The lockdown was lifted at 11:50 a.m. There were no injuries and the amount of property damage is unknown at this time. The investigation is on-going.
