Columbia Eve Fest - New Year's Eve Celebration

Make your New Year's Eve plans now. Columbia Eve Fest will offer families fun festivities and high-quality entertainment, starting at 7 p.m. on Dec. 31.  Enjoy the theme of Color Your Dreams in 2016, with musical performances, magic, children's performers, dancing and jam sessions. A children's finale will start at 7:45 p.m. in the auditorium of the Missouri United Methodist Church, 204 S. Ninth St., with a countdown into a Videology Kidz Dance Party. The Grand Finale will feature a countdown and festivities beginning at 11:30 p.m. on Ninth Street between Elm and Locust.

Admission buttons may be purchased in advance for Eve Fest. Buttons are available at all Gerbes Supermarkets, the ARC and the Parks and Recreation administrative office, 1 S. Seventh.  Buttons purchased in advance cost $6; advance sales end at 4 p.m. on Dec. 31. Buttons can be purchased at the event for $8. Kids 6 and under are free; volunteers will also receive free admission.

Columbia Eve Fest venues will be in the Missouri Theatre, 203 S. Ninth St. and the Missouri United Methodist Church. Ninth Street will be closed to traffic, offering an outdoor venue for the Grand Finale and the Food Truck Cafe.
