The Columbia Public Works Department Street Division, will begin repairs on concrete panels on Cascades Drive in mid-November. The scope of the project will require the work to be done in three phases to minimize traffic disruptions.
Beginning on Thursday, November 12 7:00 am, the Public Works Department Street Division will be repairing pavement on Cascade Drive. This would result in the northbound lane of Cascades Drive being closed from Oak Harbor Court to Vashon Court. This phase is expected to be completed, weather permitting, on Friday, November 20 by 3:30 pm.
Beginning on Monday, November 16 7:00 am, the Public Works Department Street Division will be repairing pavement on Cascade Drive requiring the westbound lane of Cascades Drive being closed from Sinclair Road to Chelan Drive/Court. This work is scheduled to be completed, weather permitting, on Tuesday, November 24 by 3:30 pm.
Beginning Monday, November 30 7:00 am, the Public Works Department Street Division will be repairing pavement on Bellingham Drive. This would result in the eastbound lane of Bellingham Drive being closed from Sinclair Road to Madison Creek Drive. The work is scheduled to be completed, weather permitting, on Friday, December 4 by 3:30 pm.
Motorist and non-motorized transportation users are urged to use caution in the work zones and find alternate routes when available.
