Cosmo Park will be the site of Columbia Parks and Recreation's annual Halloween event, Spooktacular on Saturday! The free event will be held that day from 5-7 p.m.
Spooktacular provides families a safe alternative to door-to-door trick-or-treating, with games and candy for kids ages 12 and under.
In case of rain, a decision will be made by 3 p.m. that day as to whether the games and activities will proceed. Any weather notifications will be posted on the department's hotline at 573-874-7663. However, Parks and Recreation staff will still be available at 5 p.m. to distribute candy to children, rain or shine.
Spooktacular is co-sponsored by KPLA 101.5 and the ARC. For more information, please call Parks and Recreation at 874-7460.
