ATTEMPTED ROBBERY WITH SHOTS FIRED IN THE 300 BLOCK OF WEST WORLEY STREET
On 10/25/15 at 10:03 P.M., officers were dispatched to a shots heard in the 400 block of West Worley Street. Officers contacted a male victim, 17, from
Columbia, in reference to the shots heard. The victim reported he arrived and parked in a driveway in the 300 block of West Worley Street with a family friend. The victim observed several subjects standing around in front of the house. The victim was waiting in the car while the family friend went inside the house. The victim described four black males approached his vehicle and at least three of them displayed handguns, demanding his money. The victim refused and two of the suspect's pistol whipped him.
The victim escaped the car and ran into the residence. The victim said the suspects ran to the rear of the residence and fired multiple rounds. The victim and the family friend left the residence in the victim's vehicle. There was no one injured from gunfire.
There is no suspect information being released at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
