THE COLUMBIA POLICE DEPARTMENT IS SEARCHING FOR A SUSPECT IN THE 6000 BLOCK OF CREASY SPRINGS ROAD
On 10/5/15 at 6:20 A.M., an officer was dispatched to an exparte order violation in the 400 block of Worley Street. As the officer was heading to the call, the officer observed the suspect vehicle leaving the area. The officer attempted a traffic stop with the suspect vehicle at 7:00 A.M. near Clinkscales Road and West Worley Street.
The suspect refused to stop for the officer who then abandoned the vehicle and took off on foot in the 6000 block of Creasy Springs Road. The Columbia Police Department with the assistance of the Boone County Sheriff's Department is on foot in the area looking for the suspect. There is also two Columbia Police Department K-9 Units assisting in the woods as well as the Missouri Highway Patrol Helicopter for air support.
The officers are looking for the suspect, Darren L. Green, age 24, white male. Green has four outstanding warrants for his arrest for: burglary, hit and run, theft, Domestic Assault and Endangering the welfare of a child with a total bond of $55,000.00. Green has a no bond warrant from Probation and Parole.
