Columbia Parks and Recreation will host a second Neighborhood Park Fun Day from 6-8 p.m. on September 9. It will be held at Worley Street Park (503 West Worley St).
Neighborhood Park Fun Days are designed to bring together the residents who live in the area of the parks and provide recreational opportunities. Parks and Recreation staff will be available with a variety of activities and games.
The first Neighborhood Park Fun Day was held at Indian Hills Park. These events are free and no registration is needed. Residents are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or picnic blanket and food.
If your organization would like to host a game or activity, please call 817-5077. A new series of Neighborhood Park Fun Days will return in fall 2016.
