CORRECTED - Asphalt Sealing and Rejuvenating Projects - July 13 - 17

(COLUMBIA, MO) -

Due to weather related postponement of maintenance activities during the week of July 6, crews will be working on some streets from last weeks project list. This has caused some streets on the list for the week of July 13 to be postponed.

The corrected list of streets which will see sealing activities have been revised below.

Beginning on Monday, July 13 at 7:30 am, Public Works Department Street Division will apply asphalt sealing and rejuvenating products between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. daily until Friday, July 17, weather permitting, at the locations listed below.

Motorist and non-motorized transportation users are urged to use caution in the work zones and find alternate routes when available. Due to the nature of the work, each street will be marked as "No Parking" while the sealing work is performed. Vehicles which are not moved are subject to citation and towing at the owners expense.

This work is highly dependent on correct weather conditions. Should a street or streets not be completed the week of July 13, the work will be completed the following week.
