UPDATE: Stormwater system repairs being completed by Seth Paul Excavating in the 2100 block of Burlington Street are expected to last through Friday, June 12. The project has now been expanded to include replacing the storm water pipe instead of the original planned repairs and patch. Scheduled lane restrictions and lane shifts will be extended until work is complete on Friday.
Original Press Release: Beginning on Monday, June 8, at 7:00 am, Seth Paul Excavating will begin repairs to the stormwater system in the 2100 block of Burlington St. The work is scheduled to be completed on Wednesday, June 10 by 5:00 pm. Work and completion date is weather dependent.
The scope of the work is not expected to require road closures, however it will require lane restrictions and lane shifts. Minor traffic delays should be expected.
The contractor will apply a patch to a 72 inch storm water pipe and includes repairs to stormwater inlets and connecting pipes. The total cost of the project is estimated at $7,100 and is funded through the Stormwater Utility.
Motorist and non-motorized transportation users should use caution in the work zone and find alternate routes when possible.
