The University of Missouri, Boone County, City of Columbia, Midwest Recycling, ABC Tire LLC, and Clean Harbors, Inc., will host a Tire, Electronic, and Household Hazardous Waste Recycling event on Saturday, May 30, from 9 am to 1 pm on the Hearnes Center parking lot just south of the MU football stadium.
Please note the location change to the Hearnes Center parking lot from MU's Reactor Feild as previously advertised.
The event is open to households and farms from Audrain, Boone, Callaway, Cole, Cooper, Howard, Moniteau, and Osage counties only.
Farms and households only - no commercial tire or household hazardous waste accepted. No early drop offs please.
No charge for all household hazardous waste or electronic waste items.
Tire will be accepted for nominal fees:
Car tires - 16" or smaller - $1 per tire or $2 per tire if on the rim
Truck or Tractor tire - 16" or larger - $5 per tire or $10 per tire if on the rim
Limit of 50 tires per individual.
