On Tuesday, May 18 Walnut St will be closed to all traffic between 4 and 7 pm during the dedication of The Sharp End plaque. Parking on Walnut between 5th and 6th will also be prohibited between 4 and 7 pm.
US Postal Service patrons will be able to access the Post Office parking lot from 6th Street just north of Walnut. Patrons may then exit the lot by turning east (left) out of the Walnut Street exit. No traffic will be allowed to turn west (right).
Motorist are urged to find alternate routes and use caution in the area where the closure is taking place. Please watch for non-motorized (pedestrian) traffic in the area which is expected to be heavy.
