Pavement repairs have begun on Keene Street from I-70 Drive SE to East Broadway.
Aplex, Inc. of Linn Mo, subcontractor for APAC - MO., is currently removing and replacing failing concrete panels. This work will result in temporary lane closures, and lane shifts throughout the day.
Once the concrete panel replacement has been completed, APAC - MO. will place new asphalt. The Asphalt work will be performed at night in order to lessen the impact to the motoring public. The City of Columbia will issue an additional news release prior to the start of the asphalt work.
This project is funded through the State Transportation 80/20 match program at a total cost of $357,931.83.
Motorists and non-motorized transportation users are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the construction area and use an alternate route whenever possible.
