The latest map and schedule booklets are now available for customers to come pick up at the Wabash Station, City Hall, or on COMO Connect buses and Para-Transit vehicles.
The new map booklets include two minor upcoming route changes to the Gold (number 2) route and the Orange (number 4) route, but there will be no schedule changes taking effect at this time. The improvements to the routes will go into effect Monday, February 16th, 2015. Customers can now see these changes ahead of time online, in the new map booklets, and the bus stops affected by the route changes will be clearly marked with information to alert customers one week before the change.
Improvement to 2A/B Gold routes effective Monday, February 16, 2015
In order to improve schedule accuracy and reduce delays on the Gold (number 2) route, a small section of this route on MU campus is being moved one block north from Rollins St to University Ave due to heavy pedestrian and vehicle congestion in the area causing delays. Customers can now catch the 2A Gold and 2B Gold routes on University Ave between Hitt St and William St, and connect with the Black (number 1) route on University Ave and College Ave. See attached map of this route change.
Improvement to 4 Orange route effective Monday, February 16, 2015
Based on extremely low ridership data in an area along Vandiver Dr in north Columbia, a small section of the Orange (number 4) route will be moved one block north to provide better service to customers in that area. The route will now turn west on Holly Ave, turn south on Parker Ave, and then return to normal route heading west on Vandiver Drive. This route change will add service to many residents along Holly Ave and Parker Ave, and eliminate one bus stop in front of The Food Bank and ACT. See attached map of this route change.
