The City of Columbia Public Works Department will host an informal open house interested parties meeting on Thursday, January 22 from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, 1112 East Broadway in the church Fellowship Hall.
The purpose of the meeting is to present design concepts for curb ramp modifications required by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the resurfacing of Broadway between Providence and Hitt, and possible lane marking modifications at Broadway and 5th St to allow for left turns from Broadway onto 5th Street.
City staff will be present to present design concepts and accept public feedback. Written comment forms will be available. All comments will be included in the final report to council.
