The City of Columbia Public Works Department will host an interested parties meeting concerning the Broadway Accessible Parking Spaces project on Tuesday, February 3 from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at City Hall, 701 East Broadway, in conference room 1A.
The purpose of the meeting is to present design concepts for the Broadway Accessible Parking Spaces project. The proposed project includes converting existing on-street parking spaces to accessible parking spaces at three (3) downtown locations on East Broadway. A location map of the project is attached.
Construction of the project is anticipated to begin in 2015.
Information and diagrams showing the preliminary design concepts will be available for public review, and City engineering staff will be present to answer questions and accept feedback. Comment forms will be available. Your input will be considered as the design is developed.
