Bank Robbery at 205 S. Keene Street

(COLUMBIA, MO) -

On 1/3/15 at 10:46 A.M., officers were dispatched to 205 S. Keene Street, Boone County National Bank, in reference to a robbery.

Investigation revealed the suspect entered the bank through the front doors and approached the teller. The suspect demanded money and the teller provided the suspect an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect then fled the business on foot in an eastbound direction.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 30's, approximately 5'8" with a skinny build. The suspect was wearing a baseball hat, sunglasses, dark clothing, and gloves.

A male subject matching the description of the suspect has been detained for questioning. There were no reported injuries or property damage. This is all the information available at this time, as the investigation is on-going.
