ARMED ROBBERY AT BUDGET HOST INN

On 12/5/14 at 7:22 A.M., officers were dispatched to an armed robbery at 900 Vandiver Drive, Budget Host Inn.

The investigation revealed two suspects, both wearing dark clothing, entered the business armed with handguns. The suspects demanded money from the register and safe, which the employee provided. The suspects proceeded to restrain the employee and a customer, and fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction of travel with the undisclosed amount of money.  No property was damaged during the robbery. The customer was transported to a local hospital for evaluation. At least one of the suspects was wearing a mask at the time of the robbery, however, there is no further suspect description at this time. The investigation is on-going.
