ARMED ROBBERY AT 1704 NORTH PROVIDENCE ROAD

On 11/24/14 at 1:36 P.M., officers were dispatched to a robbery in progress at 1704 North Providence Road, Eagle Stop.

Upon officers' arrival, contact was made with an employee who reported a black male in his mid-20's with a thin build and wearing dark clothing approached her with a handgun and demanded money. The suspect retrieved an undisclosed amount of money and fled north on foot.

A canine track was conducted; however, the suspect has not been located at this time. No one was injured during the incident and the investigation is on-going. No further details are available.
