Columbia Public Works Announces Road Closures and Lane Shifts for the week of November 24 -

Beginning Thursday, November 20 at 7:00 p.m., Opus Development Company will work on completing the construction of the storm and sanitary sewer at 127 S 8th Street.  This work will result in continued lane shifts on 7th Street between Cherry Street and Locust Street and Locust Street between 7th Street and 8th Street.  The work should be completed and street fully reopened by Friday, December 5, by 7:00 p.m.

Beginning Monday, November 24 at 8:30 a.m., Summit Mechanical, Inc. will begin to add a new water service to 920 Cherry Street.  The water service addition will result in a street closure on 10th Street between Cherry Street and Locust Street during the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day.  At the end of work each a day the street will open for traffic.  The work associated with the street closure should be completed by Wednesday, November 26 at 4:30 p.m. weather permitting.
