On 10/22/14 at 3:14 P.M., officers were dispatched to a suspicious vehicle located near 705 East Walnut, Boone County Courthouse. Officers were advised Donald Buckner, a wanted individual, was driving around the Courthouse looking for a victim who was inside the Courthouse.
Officers located a vehicle outside of the Courthouse matching the description and bearing the license plates provided. Officers attempted to stop the vehicle when the vehicle fled and a slow-speed pursuit ensued. The speeds of the pursuit increased beyond what the officers felt were safe due to traffic conditions and time of day, and the pursuit was terminated.
Buckner is wanted for an active warrant for felony assault with a bond of $25,000.00 and may be armed with a firearm.
If you have any information regarding the whereabouts of Donald Vonzelle Buckner, who may also go by Donald "Mashoud" Buckner, please contact the Columbia Police Department or call Crime Stoppers at (573) 875-TIPS to remain anonymous.
