Burglary Suspects Arrested On Broadway

(COLUMBIA, MO) -

BURGLARY SUSPECTS ARRESTED ON BROADWAY

On 10/17/14 at 12:26 A.M., Officers were dispatched to an audio alarm at The Community Methodist Church located at 3301 West Broadway A.  When Officer arrived they observed an individual, Aaron Black near the main entrance to the church. Black took off running and was taken into custody. A large flat screen TV was located near the church doors where Black was initially observed.

While officers were dealing with Black, a white station wagon, without its lights on, rolled past the officers at the church. The officer performed a traffic stop with that vehicle at Broadway and Fairview Avenue. The vehicle was occupied by Dakota Dyer. The vehicle had a large flat screen television in the back along with a guitar and several other items.

The items in the vehicle and at the church were determined to be the church's property. Officers arrested Aaron Black, age 20, for Burglary in the Second Degree with a bond of $4,500.00, Possession of Controlled Substances Felony (for having a bag of marijuana when officers searched him) with a bond of $500.00, and Resisting or Interfering with an arrest with a bond of $4,500.00.

Officer arrested Dakota Dyer for Burglary in the Second Degree with a bond of $4,500.00, Possession of Controlled Substance misdemeanor (officers located inside the vehicle a marijuana smoking device and marijuana cigarette) with a bond of $500.00, Resisting or Interfering with an Arrest with a bond of $4,500.00, and Use or Possession of Drug Paraphernalia with a bond of $500.00
