UPDATE: BANK ROBBERY SUSPECTS ARRESTED

(COLUMBIA, MO) -

On 9/24/14 at 5:30 P.M., Columbia Police Detectives arrested two suspects for the bank Robbery at 3401 Buttonwood Drive, Missouri Credit Union that occurred on 9/24/14 at 5:02 P.M. CPD detectives arrested: 

Vicente Soto, age 27, from Kirksville, Missouri for;

  • Robbery in the Second Degree with a to be set bond
  • Felony resisting or interfering with an arrest with a bond of $4,500.00
  • Felony warrant for Failure to Appear on a Motor Vehicle Theft with no bond set
  • Felony warrant for Tampering with a Motor Vehicle with a bond of $10,000.00
  • Misdemeanor warrant for trespassing with a bond of $525.50
  • Misdemeanor warrant for trespassing with a bond of $525.50
  • Misdemeanor warrant for trespassing with a bond of $525.50.

 Joshua R. Harrington, age 23, from Columbia, Missouri for;

  • Felony warrant for Robbery in the Second Degree with a $150,000.00 cash only bond
  • Felony resisting or interfering with an arrest with a bond of $4,500.00, related to the bank robbery yesterday 2014-011112.

Harrington was also arrested for the following regarding previous incidents/cases: 

2014-008939  Landmark Bank robbery 1000 Kennesaw Ridge Road 08/06/2014

  • Armed Criminal Action, to be set bond
  •  Robbery in the First Degree, to be set bond

 2014-006931  Missouri Credit Union robbery 3401 Buttonwood Drive 06/21/2014

  • Robbery in the Second Degree, to be set bond

 2014-005477  Home invasion robbery 2200 block of High Oaks Court 05/16/2014

  • Armed Criminal Action, to be set bond
  • Burglary in the First Degree, to be set bond
  • Robbery in the First Degree, to be set bond

Both have been transported and released to the Boone County Jail.  No further information is available at this time.
