ARRESTS MADE IN STRONG ARM ROBBERY ON VANDIVER
On 7/28/14 at 8:57 P.M., Officers were dispatched to a strong arm robbery at 801 Vandiver Drive, Dollar General. The Investigation revealed Gregory Renfro entered the store with two juveniles, ages 5 and 6, who were in his care. Renfro was believed to be under the influence of PCP. Renfro proceeded to damage the front of the store by knocking over displays and shelves. Renfro began threatening two female employees with assault and rape. Renfro announced it was a robbery, demanded cash, and attempted to gain access to the safe and cash registers when officers arrived and took Renfro into custody. There was no one injured during the robbery.
Gregory Renfro, age 32, from Kansas City, Missouri was arrested for two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child in the First Degree with a bond of $9,000.00, Property Damage in the First Degree with a bond of $4,500.00, two counts of Sexual Misconduct in the Second Degree with a bond of $1,000.00, and Robbery in the First Degree with a to be set bond and
