Parks and Recreation Photo Contest Winners Chosen

Winners have been chosen of the third Columbia Parks and Recreation Photo Contest. Those winners will be announced and prizes awarded at the next Parks and Recreation Commission meeting on July 17 at the ARC (1701 W. Ash). A reception will be held at 6:45 p.m. and most of the contest winners are expected to be in attendance.

Parks and Recreation invited all photographers 18 years and older to share their best original photos taken at any Columbia Parks and Recreation facility, event, sport, program, or class. There were five categories of the contest with top three in each category receiving prizes. A grand prize winner was also selected. The grand prize photo will be displayed at the Parks and Recreation administrative office.
