Final preparations are underway for Columbia's 62nd annual 4th of July Fire in the Sky celebration. Free entertainment and activities begin at 6:30 p.m. tomorrow at Flat Branch Park and Peace Park in downtown Columbia. Fireworks will begin at 9:15 p.m. and will be shot from the top of the Sixth and Cherry parking garage.
The event map, which includes road closures and available parking, has been updated on the event's web page (and is attached). The page also includes a full entertainment schedule and other event details. It can be accessed at www.GoColumbiaMo.com (search 4th of July).
